What We Collect
Furniture Disposal & Removal
An environmentally responsible removal service for items that have reached the end of their useful life. Whether it is a sofa, chair, wardrobe or desk, we ensure your old furniture is disposed of or recycled in compliance with the latest regulations.
From a single item to a full house
Whether you have one tired sofa to shift or you are clearing an entire property, we scale to suit. Because we charge by volume, a single-item collection stays affordable.
Reused and recycled first
Wherever an item still has life left in it we aim to pass it on for reuse. Everything else is separated at a licensed recycling facility to keep as much as possible out of landfill.

Furniture Disposal & Removal — FAQs
- Do you take sofas and upholstered furniture?
- Yes. We remove sofas, armchairs, corner suites and other upholstered items. Because upholstered furniture has to be processed through a separate recycling stream under the current POPs (persistent organic pollutants) rules, these items carry a small additional charge, which is shown clearly in the calculator as you book.
- Do I need to take the furniture outside first?
- No. Our team collects from wherever the item is — upstairs, in a bedroom, a garage or the garden — and does all the carrying. Just let us know if there are stairs, a narrow doorway or a long carry to the van so we can send the right crew.
- Will you dismantle a wardrobe or bed frame?
- In most cases yes, where an item needs breaking down to get it out safely we will dismantle it as part of the collection. If something is built in or fixed to the wall, let us know beforehand so we can plan for it.
- How much does it cost to remove a single item?
- Single-item furniture removal is priced by the space it takes on the van, starting from our Mini Load at £84 (1 cubic yard, with a 100KG weight allowance), plus any surcharge for upholstered items. Because you only pay for the volume used, one item stays affordable rather than being charged a flat call-out rate.
- Can my old furniture be donated or reused?
- Wherever an item is still usable we aim to pass it on for reuse rather than recycle it. We cannot guarantee a specific charity for any given piece, but reuse is always the first option we look at before anything is sent for recycling.
- Do you remove office furniture as well?
- Yes. We clear desks, office chairs, filing cabinets and other commercial furniture for businesses as well as household items, and can provide a waste transfer note for your records.
