Not sure how much you have?
Add a few photos of the pile from different angles and we'll suggest a load size.
Your estimate will appear here. This is a guide only — you can adjust the load size before booking, and we always confirm the final price on site.
All prices are volume-based — 1 cubic yard includes up to 100KG of waste.
Heavy waste needs a tailored quote. Soil, rubble, concrete, bricks and tiles are very dense and quickly exceed the 100KG-per-yard allowance, so they're priced by weight. Send us photos on WhatsApp before booking and we'll confirm the price.
Reasonable loading time is included. Difficult access, stairs, or waste located far from the vehicle may need extra labour or time — we'll always agree any additional charge with you before work begins.

How It Works
Disposing of your rubbish is incredibly straightforward
Our highly rated Man & Van rubbish removal service offers fast, flexible collections with same-day availability where possible.
- Step 1
Schedule your waste removal
Tell us how much rubbish you expect to have and arrange your pick-up through our website. For same-day collections, always call the office to confirm availability.
- Step 2
We’ll evaluate the rubbish
On arrival we evaluate the rubbish and confirm a price estimate for the removal before beginning the job.
- Step 3
We’ll take it all away
Our service includes all sensible labour — removing rubbish from an upstairs room or a garden is usually no problem, provided there is fair access to the waste.
- Step 4
We recycle as much as possible
Every piece of waste is taken to a nearby commercial recycling centre, where on average more than 95% is diverted away from landfill.
How our rubbish removal pricing works
We price by volume — the amount of space your waste takes up on the van — with each cubic yard including a weight allowance of up to 100KG. Every price includes the labour, so our team does all the lifting, carrying and loading, sweeps up afterwards and takes everything away, with nothing charged separately for the work involved. Very dense materials such as soil, rubble and concrete exceed that allowance, so those heavy loads are quoted by weight instead.
Loads run from a Mini Load at £84 (one cubic yard, approximately the boot of an estate car) right up to an XX-Large Load at £669 (14 cubic yards, roughly a full house clearance). Because you only pay for the space you use, a single-item collection stays affordable while a larger clearance works out far better value than fixed-size skip hire — with no permit to arrange and no skip left sitting on your drive.
Use the calculator above to build your load and get a firm price in seconds, then book the date and two-hour window that suits you. Prices shown are the standard public rates and always include VAT-compliant, fully documented licensed disposal.
Rubbish removal pricing — FAQs
- How is the price for rubbish removal worked out?
- We price by volume — the amount of space your waste takes up on the van — and each cubic yard includes a weight allowance of up to 100KG. All the labour is included in that price, so lifting, carrying, loading and disposal are never charged separately. Prices run from £84 for a Mini Load (1 cubic yard, up to 100KG) to £669 for an XX-Large Load (14 cubic yards, up to 1,400KG), and you only pay for the space you actually use.
- Do you charge by weight as well as volume?
- Our volume prices include a generous weight allowance of 100KG per cubic yard, which covers normal household and general waste comfortably. Only very dense materials — soil, rubble, concrete, bricks and tiles — quickly exceed that allowance, so those heavy loads are priced by weight instead. If your waste is mostly heavy material, send us a few photos before booking and we will confirm a firm price first.
- Is the labour really included in the price?
- Yes. Unlike skip hire, where you load it yourself, our team does all the lifting and carrying — including from inside the property, up or down stairs, or from a garage or garden — and sweeps up afterwards. There is no separate charge for labour or for taking the waste away.
- How does this compare to hiring a skip?
- A skip needs a permit if it goes on the road, sits on your drive for days, and you fill it yourself. With our man-and-van service there is no permit, no waiting and no loading — we arrive, load everything by hand and take it away in one visit, and you only pay for the space your waste fills rather than for a fixed skip size you may not use in full.
- Can you collect on the same day?
- Often, yes. Same-day and next-day collection is usually available across our coverage area. For same-day jobs always call the office on 01296 506089 to confirm availability before booking online.
- What can’t you take, or what costs extra?
- Certain items — such as fridges and freezers, mattresses, sofas, tyres and TVs — carry a small additional charge because they must be processed through a specific recycling stream. These are shown clearly in the calculator as you build your booking. We cannot take hazardous waste such as asbestos, chemicals or clinical waste as part of a standard collection.
- Do you provide a receipt and waste transfer note?
- Yes. We are a registered waste carrier with the Environment Agency (CBDU370542) and provide a duty-of-care waste transfer note for every job, so you have documented proof your waste has been disposed of legally and responsibly.
